Kuala Lumpur day 1

My friend, Ami, Met me at the train station and we went to his house to drop off my stuff. Then we set out exploring the city. People here are so nice and friendly. Everyone is willing to help you with stuff. I think the city is beautiful, and the cultural diversity is incredible.  We went by markets, malls, the Petronas Towers, Chinatown, an Indian temple, and several other things. Also, they drive on the left side of the road here.

Food has been amazing so far!

At the end of the day  we stopped at a Helly pad bar, with a gorgeous view of the entire city. For dinner, we went to a really interesting Indian spot set up under some tents outside where I had amazing naan.

I think they call this the "river of life" they're trying to revitalize the city some.
