Chiang Mai Feb 15

I rented a scooter to go meet Tim (from the HaLong Bay cruise) and his friends so we could go to a local elephant sanctuary.  Riding the scooter was fun!  The streets are crazy here too, but people are more polite with their driving, so it wasn't too bad.

Each village has their own amazing temple.  This is one in the village where Tim was staying.

I took the scooter and drove a more scenic route home.

Once back at the hostel.  Went to the roof for sunset.  And met more fun people.  Again we went to the local market, but this time, we each took turns buying something and then shared.

There was a 15k in the city!  I tried to sign up yesterday, but they told me it was full.  So fun to watch!  The announcer def made fun of all the "white people" watching and even asked all of us where we're from lol.
