Sapa Valley Day 2

Had a lazy day this morning.  It was nice.  Got up, read a book and enjoyed a nice breakfast.  At 10am, we planned to go hike Fansipan, which is the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula.  However, apparently, you have to hire a guide and you have to start the hike at 5am.  Doesn't make sense to use because the hike is only supposed to be 3 hours.

With nothing else to do, we decided to rent a scooter to go find some other hikes.  The roads were terrible and drivers are a bit crazy.

Did some morning reading up here

Talked to these crazy kids (there's a 12 hour time difference)

Sat on the balcony for a bit

We have the Worst luck ordering drinks here.  Never know what you're going to get!  This is our "coconut coffee" that came with ice cream in it.

Rented a scooter!

The ladies could tell Ami is the weaker link ;) they'd go from smiling and laughing to the saddest looking faces ever

Pictures don't show how beautiful it was.  And you could hear cows, laughter of children, roosters, etc... all echoing up from the valley

Um, a little intimidating to walk past

Look at that hair though oooohhhh i love having a hair dryer haha

Ladies at the waterfall would not go away, trying to sell stuff.

These ladies were on our HaLong Bay cruise and saw us along the road!!

Sunset over Fansipan

Our stop for a late afternoon snack

Just park anywhere

Hehe Ami might love pizza as much as me

The city was completely dead at night because of Tet (Lunar New Year)

We went back to the same bar to play pool in the evening.
